PERSONAL STATEMENT
My name is Siobhan Walsh, and I earned my Elementary Education K-9 certification at the University of Michigan in April 2018 with a concentration in Integrated Science. I have endorsements in Science and English as a Second Language. I’m also currently working on my Math endorsement. My goal in life has always been to make a lasting impression on the people I meet everyday. For me, teaching is about being able to touch the lives of my students in ways that support their social, emotional, and mental development. Through building relationships, creating a safe community, and being purposeful and reflective in planning, it is my mission to spark an enthusiasm for learning in the world. I hope to create the foundation for lifelong learning. These principles of mine helped me formulate a love and passion for teaching.
